Base System, BS

Base System is a device which controls fixed and mobile nodes, and handles user input. Information including ranging and sensors is delivered via ZigBee communication. Location Engine, which processes this information and calculates the positions, is executed in the Base System.

Base System may be implemented either as an embedded system or as PC. For the former case, components like ZigBee module, LCD display, and buttons are embedded in a standalone system. For the latter case, PC and its peripherals are used with ZigBee USB dongle for communication.

LPMA-1000 is the embedded system configuration which provides sound effect and additional features with location and motion recognition. Other applications will be deployed easily in the future.
